OGMS Agronomy Club Recruitment Flyer
As a part of the first ever agronomy club at OGMS you have been tasked with creating an attractive informational flyer to help educate and recruit students to join our club. At our first meeting club members completed a brainstorming session about agronomy and agreed on the following information that should be included in the flyer. The goal of our club is to educate classmates on the importance of stewardship of the land. Your groups flyer should have accurate and detailed information and be visually appealing. At the next club meeting each group will present their final product and the club members will decide which flyer will be used.

Use the website below to explore agronomy in more detail. This will allow you to be prepared when we start our project.
You may also use this website as a resource during the project to enhance your club flyer!

Section 6 Research- Agronomy Club Project
The Agronomy Club would like to do a service project to enhance the aesthetics of Oak Grove Middle School.
1. Write a proposal of your service project.
2. It must be done outside and should go along the Agronomy Clubs mission.
3. Address your proposal to Mr. Shamblen
Example:
Mrs. Mayhew,
The Agronomy Club would like to take on a service project to enhance Oak Grove Middle School's beauty outside. As members of the club we would like to present this proposal to you and get your feedback on when the project could be completed. We believe the agronomy club should be in charge of keeping the school's natural areas clean, weed free, and have plants that can enhance the look of our school as well as use plants that are good for our climate. After school, once a week, the agronomy club would like to work in each natural area. This would be an amazing service project for Oak Grove! Thank you for taking the time to consider this club for the Grizzly Den.
Sincerely,
OGMS Science Teachers
